We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to work with our Airports and Specialised Pavements business initially supporting the Hobart Airport Upgrade project and then moving into working on a portfolio of projects across the country. This role will require national travel and can be based out of any location along the east coast of Australia. KEY TASKS
- Support the commercial team in the administration of the head contract subcontractors/suppliers including variations and EOT claims.
- Support the project team with procurement as required.
- Coordinate the review, approval and processing for payment of subcontract and supply claims.
- Co-ordinate overall management of controlled documents for the project.
- Assist the Commercial team in compiling monthly client and internal reporting packs as required
- A minimum of 5 years' experience, with at least 2 years' demonstrable experience in a contracts role on a project.
- Ability to contribute to the preparation of contract claims and financial information.
- Ability to interpret and apply contract terms and legislation provisions.
- An understanding of document control processes and systems.
- Working knowledge of typical construction contracts.
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and pressure.
