As a Epidemiologist, you will play a key role in supporting clinicians and researchers to address significant healthcare challenges. This position involves study design, conducting rigorous data analyses, and leading research initiatives to generate impactful insights. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders, the epidemiologist will ensure seamless collaboration and the effective translation of findings into actionable outcomes. Strong analytical skills, teamwork, and a passion for advancing healthcare and public health are essential for success in this role. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES SPECIFIC Collaborate closely with Clinician Principal Investigators in designing research studies and clinical trials. Perform statistical analyses, interpret results, and contribute to the preparation of publications. Provide support to clinician and allied health Principal Investigators in ethics submissions and grant applications. Assist in developing effective slides or posters for scientific meetings or institutional communications, ensuring complex messages are clearly conveyed and tailored to the intended audience. Share knowledge and conduct training on research methods, epidemiology, and statistics-related topics in courses organized by CRIO. Adhere to principles of good ethical and scientific practice, including data and safety monitoring, in study design, data collection, dissemination, and the responsible use of collected information. Develop expertise in emerging areas such as mixed-method research designs, survey methods, systematic reviews, meta-analysis, and innovation methodologies by attending relevant courses. Support PIs in identifying and leveraging internal and external resources when expertise is required. GENERAL Compile and manage databases and other information sources, such as the electronic medical literature, for analysis of healthcare-related questions. Support special projects as requested by managerial, administrative, or operational staff. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor / Head of department including administrative duties. Regularly evaluate and implement improvements to the Epidemiology-related work processes. JOB REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION Master’s or PhD in Epidemiology, Public Health, Statistics, or a related field. PRE-REQUISITES Proficiency in statistical software such as STATA, SPSS, R, Python, SAS, or equivalent. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical teams, researchers, and various stakeholders. Interest in and knowledge of big data analytics and machine learning techniques. Familiarity with implementation science and health economics is advantageous. EXPERIENCE At least one year of postgraduate experience, working in epidemiology, public health, or related fields. #J-18808-Ljbffr
