Advocate Lawyers is seeking an experienced lawyer (PAE 5+ Years) to join our growing firm and are looking to shape the position around the skills and expertise brought by the successful candidate. We want to help build your practice in a supportive and positive workplace. Project Location(s): Kingston / Hobart Education: Relevant tertiary qualifications Compensation: Commensurate with experience We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience across a range of areas or is a specialist – we will make the role fit the right candidate;
- Can take complex legal concepts and deliver practical advice to clients;
- Enjoys autonomy but thrives in a team environment;
- Effectively manages client requirements and expectations; and
- Enjoys working with clients to build long-term relationships.
- Providing legal advice and representation to clients. We are a general practice which means we need lawyers to cover a variety of areas that may include but is not limited to property and conveyancing, commercial, estate planning, estate administration, family law and civil litigation;
- Communicating with clients and other legal professionals;
- Providing exceptional customer service to clients and practitioners;
- Mentoring junior staff and assisting with business development;
- Working with support staff to achieve legal goals for the client and the business;
- Keeping abreast of changes in relevant laws and regulations.
