Planning and Environment Advisor

Health, Safety & Environment (Mining, Resources & Energy) Full time The Opportunity At APA, our purpose is simple: to strengthen communities through responsible energy. We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Planning and Environment Advisor to join us in our Power Planning and Environment Team in Perth on a full time permanent basis. Reporting to the Planning & Environment Manager, you will provide support to gain environmental approvals for the development of large-scale renewable energy and power transmission projects in the Pilbara. Key Responsibilities

• Building relationships with key stakeholders and assist the business to secure all environmental approvals required for new projects.
• Coordinate environmental investigations and manage specialist consultants deliverables.
• Collaborate with internal teams to manage schedule, contractors and environmental outcomes.
• Manage compliance and reporting of project environmental commitments.
• Understanding and ensuring projects comply with regulatory, governance and community requirements.

Your Background

• Strong understanding of environmental regulations and best practices.
• Excellent technical skills in environmental science or engineering.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a similar role in energy, mining or infrastructure projects.
• The ability and willingness to travel to the Pilbara, including remote areas.
