Consumer Financial Consultant (Region Selangor)

Job Descriptions

1. Acquire new business focusing on primary areas: mortgage and salary financing, with secondary focus on credit protection and credit cards.
2. Responsible for sales fulfillment in mortgage and salary financing.
3. Participate in all sales and marketing activities, e.g., property launches, seminar selling, pocket talks, payroll, and product launches.
4. Emphasize focus products (mortgage and salary financing) by successfully identifying customers’ needs while enhancing the overall relationship between Maybank and its customers.
5. Deliver strategic intent for mortgage and salary financing, including target segment, mortgage portfolio rebalancing, Islamic penetration, digital, and credit protection.
6. Establish and maintain strong customer relationships and close contacts with various parties for referrals, including lawyers, real estate agents, housing developers, property valuers, payroll companies, and selected GLCs.
7. Consistently meet and exceed sales targets set.
8. Adhere to compliance and internal bank policies.

1. Fresh graduates with a strong interest in financial and sales advisory are encouraged to apply.
2. Minimum diploma holder (or equivalent) in any relevant qualification.
3. Strong leadership and relationship-building skills; must be a team player.
4. Good communication skills for engaging with all parties.
5. Able to work under pressure and results-oriented.

7. Good sales traits, convincing power, and strong relationship-building skills.
8. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
