Retail Assistants (Retail & Consumer Products) About the role We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Assistant (Bakery) to join our team at Suanson Specialty Cakes in Kuala Lumpur. As a Retail Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting the efficient operation of our bakery retail outlet. This is a full-time position. What you'll be doing

• Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Providing knowledgeable recommendations on our range of specialty cakes and baked goods
• Operating the cash register and processing customer transactions accurately
• Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the retail space
• Restocking and organising product displays
• Supporting the bakery team with various tasks as needed

What we're looking for

• Experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in the food and beverage industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, helpful attitude
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic numeracy skills and cash handling experience
• A genuine interest in baked goods and a passion for providing exceptional customer service
