About the role We are seeking a Lawyer to join our team at K. J. LO & CO in Johor Bahru, Johor. This is a full-time position with opportunities for professional development and growth within our growing law firm. What you'll be doing

• Advising clients on a wide range of legal matters, including corporate, commercial, and litigation issues
• Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and pleadings
• Conducting legal research and analysis to support client cases and transactions
• Representing clients in court proceedings and negotiations
• Collaborating with other legal professionals and support staff to ensure efficient and effective client service
• Staying up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent legal qualification
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients
• Thorough understanding of legal principles, procedures, and best practices
• Proficiency in using legal research tools and software
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
