Location: Riyadh Understanding the Business Strategy: Understanding the business strategy & vision and translating them into enterprise-wide technology vision & strategy in alignment with strategic priorities for growth, customer experience, efficiency etc. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the impact of the business strategy on the architecture landscape, including organization, information, infrastructure, and applications.
- Create business and enterprise architecture models that help clients realize their strategy & vision with technology.
- Lead the creation of blueprints and roadmaps for complex and large technology environments.
- Analyze client’s (IT) Operating Model including the organization structure, processes, and governance while developing recommendations and/or creating actionable roadmaps.
- Significant experience in developing architecture standards, principles, and guidelines for the enterprise.
- Govern enterprise-wide portfolio of systems/platforms as part of the 'Architecture Review Board'.
- Function as guardian of the strategy and architecture to ensure new initiatives comply with the set guidelines.
- Analyze application portfolios, identify dependencies and common infrastructure platform components, and assess migration feasibility.
- Solicit feedback from enterprise customers and influence future iterations of our enterprise platform.
- Assist with cost/benefit modeling and create compelling business cases/total cost of ownership studies for migration.
- Guide clients through large, enterprise-wide transformations to implement their strategies and enterprise architecture.
- Work with IT leadership (e.g., CIO, IT Director) and business leadership (e.g., CFO, COO, BU leader) to help shape and guide the IT strategic and improvement agenda.
- Be a trusted advisor on 'innovation' with the ability to frame key business and technology trends within the context of the client's objectives.
- Identify potential implications and impacts of associated trends.
- Leverage EY’s global network and cross-functional expertise to develop relevant enterprise architecture insights.
- Interact with CXO level stakeholders and senior management levels of client organizations.
- Implement the business development and sales plan and contribute to setting the strategic direction for the enterprise architecture practice.
- Develop thought leadership and define approaches to provide structured solutions to complex technology strategy problems of clients.
- Manage engagement teams and provide technical leadership in the assessment, design, and management of successful IT transformation engagements.
- Provide high-quality client services by directing daily progress of engagement work.
- Inform EY leadership of engagement status and manage staff performance.
- 5+ years of experience specializing in technology architecture, solution architecture, and standards.
- TOGAF/ZACHMAN Enterprise architecture tools: Meta, Aris, Alfabet.
- Develop reference architectures and technology blueprints based on business requirements and non-functional requirements.
- Identify technology standardization opportunities and specify options.
- Experience with at least one Cloud Based Platform (Cloud Foundry, Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure).
- Experience architecting and implementing using Microservices, Containerization technologies (Docker, etc.).
- Experience guiding, designing, and assisting in implementing Service Oriented Architecture.
- Understanding of systems infrastructure and various approaches to load balancing and fault tolerance.
- Experience in producing solution architecture diagrams, application interaction diagrams, solution blueprints, roadmaps, etc.
- Build and maintain appropriate relationships at client; leverage relationships to effectively execute work.
- Maintain open and proactive communication.
- Build credibility by knowing what’s happening in clients’ businesses and with their competitors.
- Deliver an exceptional client experience across all engagements.
- Drive opportunities to expand client services based on current offerings and client feedback.
