JASARA PMC is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive BIM Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Saudi Arabia. As a BIM Coordinator, you will be responsible for facilitating effective collaboration between various project stakeholders through the utilization of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies. Your role will be critical in ensuring that project deliverables are met on time and in accordance with established quality standards. In this position, you will contribute to the Building Information Modeling (BIM) initiatives across the Sub District with a dynamic and innovative approach. Responsible for the implementation and management of BIM standards across the Sub-District in line with Project/District Digital Delivery Strategy. You will collaborate closely with project teams from client, including consultants and contractors, to ensure successful project delivery that meets our requirements. Your contribution will be pivotal in driving the adoption of BIM methodologies, enhancing design efficiencies, and fostering a collaborative environment within the team. Responsibilities

  • Champions QIC's "Safety First" value, specifically confident in enacting ‘Stop Work' authority, engage in relevant health/safety/wellbeing standards and behaviors.
  • Demonstrates positive workplace behaviors, in line with the company values, at all times.
  • Implements BIM procedures in line with ISO 19650 during design, construction and handover for assigned assets/projects.
  • Provides support to project teams to set up and maintain BIM projects.
  • Contributes to object library development in alignment with wider Digital infrastructure strategy.
  • Responsible for the assurance and checking of the information model.
  • Manage 4D construction sequencing strategy using information models.
  • Supports training on using databases, analyzing data, creating templates, conducting assurance, COBie production, and other BIM-related topics.
  • Collaborates with PM and design teams on procedural elements and compliance.
  • Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of the systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice', improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
  • Ensures the implementation and management of a Common Data Environment to international standards, through Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
  • Governance of "Shared" and "Published" information within the Sub-District.
  • Oversees the Sub-District Project's federated information models and associated data sets for inclusion within the overall District Project Information Model (PIM) and Asset Information Model (AIM).
  • Facilitates the coordination of interfaces between Sub-District Projects.
  • Contribute to progress reports for each project, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and achievements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Architecture or Construction Management, Project Management or relevant field of study.
  • Certified in ISO 19650 standards.
  • APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA or equivalent desirable.
  • 7 years' min years' relevant experience, within BIM roles.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing business requirements.
  • Effectively manages and prioritizes workload and delivers to tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrate Strong written and verbal skills in English.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using engineering design software and related tools is necessary.
  • Evidence the develop and implementation of policies and procedures within BIM.
