The Financial Planning Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping SEP's financial strategies, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize the impact of educational programs. This position will lead financial planning and analysis activities, ensuring robust budgeting, forecasting, and evaluation of various cost areas such as staffing, operations, infrastructure, and student services. Skills Strategic Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process to align with SEP's objectives, managing budgets across staffing, infrastructure, technology, and student services. Develop financial models to project revenue and expenses, ensuring efficient resource allocation and compliance with financial goals. Performance Analysis and Optimization: Conduct variance analysis, monitor KPIs, and prepare reports for leadership to drive decision-making and resource efficiency. Evaluate investments in growth initiatives like campus expansions and technological upgrades, providing data-driven recommendations to enhance sustainability and program delivery. Collaborative Planning and Reporting: Collaborate with academic and administrative teams to align financial strategies with operational needs, considering short- and long-term goals. Present comprehensive financial reports to the Board, offering actionable insights into trends, forecasts, and overall performance. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification preferred. Minimum 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the education sector. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and Excel.
