A highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations is required to lead our operations team at Mondrian Doha. This role involves working closely with the management team to ensure seamless delivery of exceptional guest experiences.Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the organization's goals, collaborating with executive leadership to establish short- and long-term objectives.
- Process Improvement: Analyze current operational processes and identify areas for improvement, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity across departments.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor operational teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment, conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to team members.
- Financial Management: Oversee budgeting and financial planning for operations, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives, monitoring financial performance and analyzing variances for corrective actions.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and internal policies, identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or equivalent.
- Strong commercial acumen, preferably with experience in Food and Beverage.
- Experience in managing budgets, revenue proposals, and forecasting results.
- In-depth knowledge of the Lifestyle/leisure / Food and beverage service sector.
- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve a high level of performance and exceed targets.
- Accountable and resilient.
- Ability to work under pressure.
