Industry / Domain: Switchgear / Switchgear production Job Responsibilities: We are looking for a Leader who can lead a team within a production unit or line to execute Switchgear production processes, transforming parts and raw materials into complete products in a timely and cost-effective manner. Ensure continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures, drawings, and quality and safety standards and policies. You will also showcase your expertise by organizing and allocating resources to meet line production targets effectively and efficiently. Solving and managing all the troubleshooting and solving issues that arise on a production floor and ensuring a safe and clean production workspace. The supervisor is an integral part of the Switchgear Manufacturing process, so he must be competent and manage complex operations. You should also be able to optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing operational costs. The goal is to ensure that production processes deliver products of maximum quality in a profitable manner.
- Ensuring that production scheduling and production plans meet the volume requirements agreed upon in the demand plan and defined inventory service levels.
- Recommending technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary.
- Identifying deficiencies in the production area and proposing improvement activities.
- Overseeing the implementation of actions to improve production performance.
- Managing the resolution of critical product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams.
- Communicating targets and expectations to production team members and evaluating their performance.
- Compiling reports about production and providing management with updates.
- Ensuring all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly.
- Determining and distributing work assignments and responsibilities and supervising projects to ensure employees collaborate towards a common objective.
- Informing the production team of preferred occupational health and safety practices.
- Regularly checking the machinery and checkpoints to ensure safe and efficient workflow.
- Min 10 years of experience in the production of the Switchgear Industry with manpower planning, shop floor management, HSE.
- Documentation skills, communication skills.
- Leadership.
- You are at ease communicating in English.
- Bachelor's / Diploma Degree in Electrical / Production or relevant field.
