As a key member of the senior management team, the Manufacturing Manager reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and establishes policies that promote company culture and vision through its operations. The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for the efficiency of the business, which includes maintaining control of diverse business operations and establishing and following a set of policies and processes.By setting comprehensive goals for performance and growth, the Manufacturing Manager leads employees and encourages maximum performance and dedication. This role is high-visibility, requiring strong communication skills and the responsibility of positively representing the organization in the community and in the media. The Manufacturing Manager must maintain the highest level of integrity and lead by example in all areas.Duties & Responsibilities:Provide day-to-day leadership and managementDrive the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow, and business goalsDemonstrate excellent interpersonal, presentation, and public speaking skillsDedicate efforts to building and growing a strong and stable workforcePresent the company and its products publicly with confidenceExhibit outstanding organizational and leadership abilitiesUnderstand all business functions such as IT, HR, Finance, Marketing, etc.Make sound decisions and solve problems in pressure situationsCollaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement operational plansMaintain MPSManage hours & capacityEnsure health & safety in all workshop areasManage CIPManage 5SReduce boat building hoursImprove efficiencyMaintain & improve qualityRequirements & Skills:BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plusProven experience as Operations Manager or a similar relevant roleDemonstrable competency in strategic planning and business developmentUnderstanding of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
