Mechanical Project Engineer Salary: $120,000 - $130,000 + Super Location: South Perth WA – Henderson Industry: Heavy Industry Our client is a rapidly expanding market leader in the field of heavy process engineering specializing in the delivery of process equipment. This includes Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels, and associated heavy-based equipment used in the Oil & Gas, Offshore / Onshore processing sectors. Role: Our client is currently seeking expressions of interest for a Mechanical Project Engineer who has come from a fabrication, welding, and heavy industry background to join the business in a Mechanical Engineering capacity. You will be working within a team of associated engineers to assist in the delivery and management of heavy process equipment such as Heat Exchangers and Pressure Vessels to clients. Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and background:

  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Process Industry Experience
  • Exposure to Heat Exchangers and Pressure Vessels
  • Ability to Provide Cost Estimates to Clients
  • Ability to Specify Equipment
  • Good Knowledge of Design Methodologies
  • Heavy Industry Fabrication Experience
  • Experience Working with API Standards
  • Good Communication and Client Liaison Skills
Remuneration: Salaries are completely open based on skills and background; however, candidates should expect to receive a salary in the region of $120,000 - $130,000 + Super (Negotiable).
