We're seeking an experienced Telecommunications Civil Team Lead to join our team on a FIFO basis. Job Summary : We're looking for an experienced and skilled Telecommunications Civil Team Lead to oversee our civil construction teams on remote FIFO projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of civil engineers and technicians on telecommunications infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery. Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage a team of civil labourers and contractors on FIFO projects
- Plan, coordinate and supervise civil construction activities
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Manage project timelines, budgets and resources
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders
- Conduct site inspections and audits
- Implement quality control measures
- Develop and maintain client relationships
- 5+ years of experience in telecommunications civil construction
- Proven leadership and management experience
- Strong understanding of telecommunications infrastructure
- Knowledge of Australian standards and regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Certificate IV in Civil Construction, Diploma of Project Management)
- Ability to work in remote locations on a FIFO basis
- Valid Australian driver's license
- Experience with fiber optic cable installation
- Knowledge of NBN, Telstra or other telecommunications networks
- Certification in Workplace Health and Safety
