We are currently looking for an experienced QHSE Advisor to join us at our M&S site in Milton Keynes. You’ll take responsibility for all thing’s health and safety at site and help push our road to zero campaign. We’re looking for someone to champion and promote health, safety and environmental awareness throughout the site whilst always leading from the front. The role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00. However flexibility will be required to be visible across all shifts, this is logistics after all! Pay, benefits and more: You’ll be paid a salary of up to £40,000 per annum dependent upon experience and qualifications. - Support the QHSE Manager in the management of health and safety across the site, including supporting fire evacuations, undertaking audits and submitting any required reports
- Provide training to the management team, ensuring all key personnel are adequately trained in subjects such as incident investigation and fire safety management
- Compile data, statistics and compliance reports to identify site trends as required
- Advise and assist where required with all on-going investigations into all accidents, incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and ensuring all actions are completed in the sites agreed SLA timings
- NEBOSH General Certificate, with a strong working knowledge of H&S law and legislation
- Experience working at a similar level within a logistics/warehousing/FMCG environment
- Excellent attention to detail, producing consistent quality work and being proactive in your approach to identify potential issues
- Confidence engaging with colleagues at all levels, as well as the ability to build strong working relationships with senior management and customers alike
