- Leading a team of Systems Engineers
- Coordinating with the Product Heads to release System Level design artifacts to the Engineering Departments
- Conducting impact assessments and facilitating Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) produced by the Configuration Control Board (CCB)
- Auditing Systems Engineering reviews produced by the Engineering Departments to ensure high quality standards are met and to collate into updated System Level design artifacts
- Supporting the Product Heads in ensuring that program objectives are on-schedule and on budget
- Supporting the development of Engineering Management Processes and Tools
- Ensuring that engineering activities are conducted and documented in accordance with Gilmour Space policies, plans and procedure
- Other duties as requested by Management
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or a relevant qualification
- Junior Lead: 2+ years of engineering experience (excluding internships)
- Senior Lead: 5+ years of engineering experience (excluding internships)
- Senior Lead: Maintains or is eligible for CPENG and RPEQ
- In-depth understanding of Traditional and Modern Systems Engineering practices
- Proven ability to operate in dynamic, fast-paced environments
- Demonstrated resilience in high-stress situations
- NV1 Security Clearance eligible
- Compliance with the Defence Trade Controls Amendment Act 2024
- Formal Systems Engineering Training
- 2+ years of design engineering experience
- 5+ years of System Engineering experience
- 5+ years working in the aerospace industry
- Familiarity with the principles of Model Based Systems Engineering
- Familiarity with modern web-based PLM and MRP Software solutions
- In-depth experience with industry standard Systems Engineering Standards (Nasa Systems Engineering Handbook, ECSS, INCOSE, SEBoK, etc.)
- Understanding of Web Development fundamentals
