- Own the Production Planning team, ensuring production schedules are aligned to customer delivery requirements.
- Handle the daily, weekly, monthly production build plans to ensure labor & materials are available for production start dates.
- Develop, lead, and implement procurement strategies across both local & international Buyers, ensuring the achievement of purchasing objectives.
- Collaborate with the Global Supply Chain Team and Buyers to lead all aspects of achieving all critical metrics related to suppliers. Develop RCCM on specific supplier when necessary to improve supplier performance.
- Develop inventory management plans to ensure product lead time requirements are balanced with inventory investment costs.
- Work with the Global Inventory Management Team to ensure inventory reduction programs are in place, monthly targets are met, and compliance programs are in place.
- Ensure Excess and Obsolete minimization programs are in place.
- Manage the inventory control process for the sites, ensuring regular Cycle Counting is conducted and important metrics related to inventory are met.
- Engage with the Global Logistics Team and local Freight Forwarder to establish and maintain compliance programs while meeting critical metrics.
- Serve as the main contact for the Tactical purchasing team and Operations. Address recurring and advanced supplier performance issues such as Deliveries and Quality. Act as the local liaison between Principal and site(s) to support local requirements.
- Work with the Global Supply Chain team on developing cost-out programs related to controlling Net Material Inflations.
- Support New Product Development (NPD), Introduction (NPI), and Customer projects.
- Cultivate solid relationships with collaborators and strategic supply partners to enhance Business.
- Develop and improve workflow processes in line with ERP software system.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, or an APICS Certificate.
- 5-7 years functional experience in one or more of the following areas: Supply, Engineering, or Operations, working in a complex manufacturing environment and 3 years negotiation experience.
- Demonstrated people leadership skills where you bring the best out of your team and pave the way for their success.
- Proven change management experience in a global organization.
- Experience in managing supplier development.
- Experience in working with complex ERP systems, SAP preferred.
- Good understanding of the respective industry and supply base and key cost drivers.
