This boutique studio has a focus on large-scale, high-end multi-residential/mixed-use projects. Situated in a prime location in the stunning Gold Coast, the practice offers a winning combination of design experience and energy - underpinned by outstanding leadership and a strong project pipeline. An opportunity has arisen for a capable Senior Architect to join the small team and work alongside the Directors, to deliver the design development, documentation and delivery stages of high-end, unconventional buildings. The successful Architect will have a passionate, driven approach, along with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects through all stages. Relish the beach lifestyle while progressing your career on landmark projects. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and drive the delivery of architectural documentation packages through design development, tender and construction phases
- Program the scope of services and provide regular advice on project performance
- Attend site meetings with the head contractor to review and assess the built progress against the design intent and quality outcomes
- Be able to advise on constructability issues with the client representatives
- Mentor, train and lead the project team members
- 10-15 years' local experience, including large and complex design projects
- Experience in the delivery of large scale multi-residential projects
- Able to develop internal layouts and basement carparks of multi-residential apartments, feasibility and yield
- Proficiency in Revit
- Solid understanding of Australian standards and BCA's
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
