The Reliability Engineer delivers results by originates and develops analysis methods to determine reliability of components equipment and processes. Acquires and analyzes data. Prepares diagrams charts drawings calculations and reports to define reliability problems and make recommendations for improvements. Conducts analysis of reliability problems and investigates to determine the required reliability approach for a particular situation with consideration given to cost limitations for equipment uptime/downtime repair/replacement costs and availability of materials/equipment to avoid machine failures. Some common forms of analysis related to reliability engineering include: Translating breakdowns events into required preventive maintenance program
- Initiating equipment modifications for enhanced reliability
- Defining maintenance standards & procedures
- Reliability hazard analysis
- Root cause analysis
- Functional analysis and functional failure analysis
- Testability analysis
- Operational hazard analysis
- Preventative/Planned Maintenance Optimization (PMO)
- University Degree (Bachelor) or higher in Engineering or another related field. Languages: Local Fluent; English Intermediate
