FTE: Full time Start date: ASAP Rate: Incredible above market salary, bonus and benefits Job Description Planet Pharma are currently partnered with a leading life science company in the pharmaceutical industry who are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead a team of sales professionals in India. This is a field based role with the responsibility of overseeing the success of the team and growth of the company. Our client is an established Global Life Science company who have seen success across many regions and are looking to establish the same development in India. Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets for growth and profitability within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, monitor competitor activities, and stay updated on industry trends.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including pharmaceutical companies, distributors, and healthcare professionals.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to enhance their performance and achieve sales targets. Provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Sales Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports, track sales performance, and take corrective actions as needed.
- Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations and close deals with key clients. Ensure contracts and agreements align with company policies and objectives.
- Experience selling chemicals or consumables directly into Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (10+ years)
- Experience leading sales teams (10+ years)
- Proven track record growing Business / Market share
- Fluent in Hindi and English
