The Role…. The Project Coordinator will work with Fingleton White’s project delivery teams across the Gas Design Sector. Responsibilities include:- Assist Project Leads in delivering projects in Ireland and the UK from conceptual phase through to completion in the Gas network sector, including:
- Design of upgrade works across gas distribution networks
- New build AGI and PRI and Capacity Upgrades
- Renewable Gas (Biogas, Biomethane, and Hydrogen)
- Tx Pipelines and pipeline Diversions
- Assist in project co-ordination tasks, including:
- Project Planning and scheduling using MS Project
- Development and management of project schedules and controls tools
- Representing the company in Progress/Planning meetings/workshops
- Developing schedules to include design work, resources, timelines, and costs
- Providing performance updates/reports with identification of variances and corrective actions
- Developing Design, Pre-Construction, Construction, and Commissioning Programs as part of the project team
- Monitoring original versus actual budgets for scope growth/changes
- Collaborating with engineering leads to ensure timely submission of invoices, programmes, and progress reports
- Ownership of internal project commercial reporting and maintenance of company systems
- Assist in coordinating resources across the project portfolio
- Manage, track, and report KPIs for clients and internal stakeholders
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:- A relevant qualification in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Planning software, including MS Project
- Experience working on projects from a project controls perspective
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Experience in assigning tasks and tracking programmes
