Job Description Summary An excellent opportunity for a Key Account Manager in Kuwait for BDI (BD Interventional) business unit. Geographically this role will cover Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain and work with key customers in the region. About the role The Key Account Manager plays a pivotal role to drive customer centricity through managing and building relationships with all key stakeholders, decision-makers and influencers in key accounts. He/she will be the subject matter expert for the Oncology platform and regionally responsible for Kuwait, Bahrain & Qatar. Main responsibilities will include:
- Drive the sales revenue & growth within assigned territory.
- Increase the category share of BD in the target market.
- Develop and build strong relationships internally and externally to support growth of the business.
- Engage and develop Key Opinion Leaders, local societies and partners.
- Drive strategic market share gain activities - account segmentation, targeting and demand generation.
- Implement market development/shaping initiatives & new product launches.
- Train and develop product knowledge to distributors.
- Provide awareness & technical support for HCPs.
- Implement product strategy by ensuring proper positioning, detailing, and evaluation.
- Drive sales effectiveness by complying to BD tools SFDC.
- Monitor competitors activities and gather intelligence on their strategies, products and pricing.
- Bachelor's degree in a medical/healthcare discipline.
- 2-3 years of sales experience in Medical Devices industry portfolio is highly preferred. Key Account Management experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership and business management skills.
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Self-motivated and exhibits a positive can-do attitude.
- Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills.
