IMI2737 - Division Head, Fire Protection and Technical SupportJob Family: Industrial Security and FireContract Type: DirectLocation: Not ApplicableBusiness Line: Not ApplicableDepartment: Not ApplicableClosing Date: 30-Nov-2024JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVEThe position holder is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and strategic direction of the division. This role requires a deep understanding of fire protection systems, building codes, and industry standards. This job will oversee a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff to ensure the optimal performance and maintenance of fire protection systems across the IMI premises and stakeholders.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESDevelop and implement the division's strategic plan aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.Oversee the design and installation of fire protection systems, including fire alarms, sprinklers, and Fire Suppression Systems.Ensure compliance with all applicable fire safety codes, regulations, and standards.Manage and develop a high-performing team of fire protection professionals.Collaborate with other departments to identify and mitigate fire risks.Conduct regular fire safety inspections and audits.Develop and implement fire prevention and emergency response plans.Manage the division's budget and resources effectively.Stay updated on the latest fire protection technologies and industry trends.Provide technical expertise and support to internal and external stakeholders.Build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies and industry partners.Identify fire system hazards to enhance best practices and safety in various areas.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEEducation:Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.Fire and Safety Engineering Diploma (Additional).Professional Qualifications:Certificate from Saudi Council of Engineering Accreditation.OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) certification.Experience Certificate related to Fire Engineer if available.Experience:At least 9 -15 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.Languages:Excellent communication skills in English (oral & written).WORKING RELATIONSInternal Interactions:ISF team, HSE, FF&SS, and AMCP all IMI stakeholders as required.External Interactions:Clients, suppliers, and external stakeholders and professionals.About Application ProcessIf you meet the criteria and you are enthusiastic about the role, we would welcome your application.
