The Opportunity: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager: Horizontal / Infrastructure to join our high-performing Water Infrastructure team in Auckland. This exciting role offers the chance to contribute to critical water infrastructure projects, leveraging your mechanical background and project management expertise. Our Water Infrastructure team is known for delivering complex, high-value projects that make a tangible difference in communities across New Zealand. We are looking for someone with 5+ years of relevant experience who is ready to make an impact in this vital sector. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the successful delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their goals, provide regular updates, and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Apply your multidiscipline expertise to manage projects through all phases, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with best practices.
  • Ensure Health & Safety standards are met across all projects.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks to support smooth delivery.
  • Contribute to planning, reporting, and documentation to align with client and organizational objectives.
About You:
  • At least 5 years of experience in infrastructure delivery or project management, experience in water and multidiscipline infrastructure projects is favourable.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering (or related disciplines) or a strong construction background with proven project experience
  • Proven track record in successfully delivering water, wastewater, treatment plant or multidiscipline projects or similar infrastructure projects.
  • Experience working with clients such as local councils, utilities providers, or water authorities is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and sustain strong client relationships.
  • Solid understanding of project financials, planning, and risk management.
  • A proactive team player who can effectively prioritise and manage multiple projects.
