Xemplar Insights Xemplar is a US-based software and solutions company that specializes in customer engagement and risk management software using AI/ML, GPT, Mobile, Web and Cloud technologies for the businesses and institutions that employ vehicles and drivers to conduct their business operations. Xemplar is looking to hire a Business Development Representative to sell “Xemplar Drive” software to potential clients, who employ vehicles and drivers to conduct their business operations. He / She will generate new business opportunities with potential clients from twin cities who maintain at least 3 drivers and more for conducting their business activities and then expand from there. He / She will cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact till the closure of the deal and continue to support the customers with his / her service proficiency. We would look up to him / her as someone who will boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth. Job Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identify the target potential customers, including.
- Learn Xemplar Drive software features with deep detail to be able to understand how it works and what value it delivers to these target organizations.
- Understand the pricing and billing processes to be able to explain to prospective buyers
- Prepare lists of companies that fit the target definition and groom them for correct contacts.
- Setup appointments with larger organizations
- Travel to locations and present the software and its benefits to target companies
- Setup up free trials for interested companies using the onboarding form.
- Provide initial level-1 support to the customer until they get comfortable with the software, especially for onboarding drivers and vehicles, and general FAQs
- Work with product team when needed for level-2 support on any technical issues
- Bachelor's degree is minimum with Computer Science or a related field.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential, along with proficiency in English and fluency in speaking local languages such as Telugu and Hindi.
- Strong sales outlook with the ability to speak intelligently, convincingly, and handle rejections with patience and temperament.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint Presentation and MS Excel, including analyzing spreadsheets and creating charts.
- Strong understanding of sales performance metrics.
- Should have a personal vehicle and mobile which can be used for the job. (a company SIM card will be provided).
- Commitment to achieving sales targets and a serious attitude towards the job.
- Ability to start the day at the office unless previously approved to go directly from home to client location.
- Ability to work independently.
