PL/SQL Architect

Role Title: Software Architect Analytics (PL/SQL) Location: Bangalore, India. Should be willing to travel domestic and international Responsibilities include:

• Project delivery: Working as a team lead to deliver projects
• Database objects: Creating database objects like tables, indexes, views, sequences, and packages
• Process design and development: Designing and developing processes like loading data from internal and external systems
• ETL code: Extracting, transforming, and loading data
• Design and implement ETL processes for data transformation and preparation
• Deploy machine learning models to production environments
• Manage data pipelines for analytics and operational use
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across multiple sources and systems
• SQL query tuning: Using Explain Plan and hints to reduce response time
• Program development: Designing, developing, testing, and deploying complex PL/SQL programs using PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MySQL
• Stored procedures: Developing stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and scripts to automate business logic
• Database performance optimization: Optimizing database performance by analyzing query execution plans and rewriting slow queries
• Automated unit test packages: Writing automated unit test packages by creating test data for all test scenarios, writing asserts for the test case, and executing test cases
• QA team coordination: Co-coordinating with the QA team for testing in QA Environment to get sign off
• Code push in production: Getting code pushed in production
• Technical support: Participating in 24x7 rotational technical support to solve business problems
• Interfacing with teams: Interfacing with Functional team, Application Development Team and infrastructure teams

• Education Qualification and Professional experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in the IT/ ITES sector

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering within a production environment
• Advanced knowledge of Python and Linux shell scripting for data processing
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., Redshift, Postgres, MongoDB)
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services (AWS)
