Information Technology System Administrator

Role - IT System Administrator Education Criteria: Computer Science or/ Engineering Graduate Experience Level: Minimum 2 years of experience in managing IT Infrastructure. Technical Skills (Essential):

10. Experience in managing and configuring enterprise-wide LANs, WANs, WLANs, VPNs, etc.
11. Strong expertise in administration of both Windows / Linux infrastructure including.
12. server and client environments
13. Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, SVN and VMware etc
14. Excellent knowledge of current protocols and standards, including Active Directory, Group Policies, MS Exchange, Core Switching/Routing, SSL/IPSec, SAN, Virtualization, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery.

1. Plan, acquire, and coordinate installation of in-house and remote hardware and software across the organization’s network.
2. Establish service level agreements with end users.
3. Provide end user support for all Volante employees globally.
4. Manage Software and Hardware Inventory and continuously monitor licensing compliance.
5. Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions.
6. Negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services.
7. Assess, approve, and administer all equipment, hardware, and software upgrades.
8. Manage and ensure effectiveness of servers, including git, Jira and backup servers, and their associated operating systems and software. Responsible for on-site and off-site data center.
9. Backup and disaster recovery management.
10. Manage and ensure optimal operation of all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, hubs, UPSs, and so on.
11. Manage and ensure effectiveness of security solutions, including firewalls, anti-virus solutions, and intrusion detection systems.
12. Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the organization’s executives, decision-makers, stakeholders, department heads, and end users regarding pertinent network activities.
13. Oversee the administration/provisioning of user accounts, permissions, and access.
14. Provide guidance to junior members of the team.
15. Define, Measure and Meet Key Operational Metrics • Maintain and operate IT infrastructure per established processes
