PSA BDP serves over 5,000 customers, including some of the world's leading multinational companies within the chemical, retail & consumer, life sciences & pharmaceuticals, and electric vehicle & industrial verticals. This role is responsible for all operations related to Life Science & health, providing support to the related forwarding processes (modes Air, Ocean, Rail, Road), product handling, labeling, and distribution operations. The responsibility also extends to the supervision and coordination of life sciences, pharmaceutical, medical device products, country healthcare regulatory requirements, and country regulatory requirements for controlled substances storage & distribution practices that are in line with the EU GDP, IATA CEIV, and the PSA BDP Global Pharma Guidelines. Tasks and Responsibilities Operations Day-to-Day: Ensure all operations related to LSH are carried out cost-effectively according to GDP guidelines. Explore ways to reduce customer costs while achieving compliance to LSH GDP requirements. Ensure operational adherence to regulatory, contractual, and SOP-driven obligations. Interact with colleagues, suppliers, customers, and regulatory parties to ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements. Develop and maintain key interfaces with management, teams, partners, customers, and government authorities. Monitor performance indicators such as complaints, deviations, CAPAs, changes, and training needs. Manage critical LSH supplier contracts, SLAs, and Quality Agreements aligned with global LSH GDP procedures. Performance Management and Problem Resolution: Address and resolve anomalies and problems arising during normal operations. Monitor processes using LSH KPIs and provide reports to local management in the monthly/quarterly management review as per PSA BDP guidelines. Coordinate investigations of pharma complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions. Manage the risk management system for new processes or changes to existing procedures. Documentation and Reporting: Ensure up-to-date documentation compliance with relevant regulations. Ensure adherence to global Pharma guidelines and report necessary information to the Global Pharma Manager. Job Requirements Generic Standards: Excellent understanding of pharma regulations. High customer focus (internal/external). Experience in Pharma logistics, GDR, and CEIV environment. Functional Standards: Knowledge on import and export procedures, air & sea. Knowledge on compliance requirements. Customer focus. Personal effectiveness traits. Qualifications / Experience 3 years’ experience in operations with experience in life sciences and healthcare industry preferred.
