Overview: Job Title: Network Engineer Location: Kuwait
Job Responsibilities:
The Network Engineer position shall be responsible for:- In-depth knowledge of complex LAN/WAN communications, network hardware such as Cisco routers, Ethernet switches, bridges, gateways, and firewalls.
- In-depth knowledge of routing protocols such as Routing Information Protocol (RIP), Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and Open Shortest Path First (OSPF).
- Strong understanding and practical experience with technologies like Multi-Schedule Private Line Service Tariffs (MPLS), Virtual Private LAN Service (VPLS), MLA Virtual Private Network (VPNs) and Traffic Engineering Duties involve among others, management of local and wide area network, projects, and installation of new devices, system, and on-going maintenance of infrastructure.
- Experience with Wireless, Riverbeds, Call Manager Express.
- Well versed with the advanced engineering and administration of multiprotocol routers, multilayer switches, network security devices and network management systems.
- Provide technical support to troubleshoot and resolve network outages.
- Submit accurate and timely updates for all assigned projects, project completion updates, and system tests.
- Well versed in all the following networks; SIPR, NIPR, Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange (CENTRIXS), Battlefield Information Collection and Exploration System (BICES), Command Post of the Future (CPOF), CENTCOM Partner Networks, Wireless Local Area Network (LAN).
- Switching protocols (Common Spanning Tree (CST), Military Image and Surveillance Technology Protocol (MISTP), Per VLAN (Virtual Local Area Network) Spanning Tree (PVST), Rapid per-VLAN Spanning Tree (RPVST+), Verification Test Plan (VTP), Detailed Test Plan (DTP), Group VLAN Registration Protocol (GVRP), Military Advisory Board (MAB), VLAN and private VLAN).
- Dynamic Multipoint Virtual Private Network (DMVPN) technologies (Next Hop Resolution Protocol (NHRP) phase 3, per tunnel Quality of Service (QOS), Information Knowledge Exchange (IKE), Internet Protocol Security (IPSEC), Easy VPN (EzVPN) and site-to-site VPN).
- IP services (Web Cache Communication Protocol (WCCP), Authentication Authorization and Accounting (AAA), Quality of Service (QOS), Internet Protocol Service Level Agreements (IP SLA), Embedded Event Manager (EEM), System Logging Protocol (Syslog), Hot Standby Routing Protocol (HSRP), Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP), Gateway Load Balancing Protocol (GLBP) and Network Time Protocol (NTP)).
Minimum Qualifications:
- An Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret Clearance.
- Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
- A minimum of six (6) years of in-depth knowledge of complex LAN/WAN communications, network hardware such as Cisco routers, Ethernet switches, bridges, gateways, and firewalls.
- In-depth knowledge of routing protocols such as Routing Information Protocol (RIP), Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and Open Shortest Path First (OSPF).

Desired Qualifications:
- Prefer a Cisco certification, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science.
