Job details

Major Responsibilities & Duties performed:

Receive job requests from the Operation Dept. along with the keys of the breakdown trucks.

Keep records of breakdown time, spares, tools, and manpower deployed for each breakdown.

Enter data related to fuel consumption and spare parts consumption.

Consult Foreman/Asst. Manager for equipment problems and diagnosis.

Monitor employee timesheets.

Maintain stationery required for the Workshop office and the Workshop.

Fill in daily equipment data.

Prepare monthly costing reports in consultation with the Workshop Manager or Asst. Workshop Manager.

Perform SAP-related activities on the computer pertaining to Workshop Operations.

Make reservations to issue materials from stores.

Perform other jobs as requested.

Other Responsibilities:

Understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies.

Follow safety instructions related to their jobs.

Report damaged PPE, unsafe machines, or equipment to concerned staff.

Keep provided PPEs in good, workable condition.

Avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment, and welfare facilities.

Report any accidents, near misses, or hazardous conditions to the concerned responsible.

Attend safety training planned for them.

Have the right to say "NO" to any unsafe work.
