In your function as a process engineer for the development of laser processes, you will be employed by Infineon's independent subsidiary, SILTECTRA GmbH. As an R&D location here in Dresden, SILTECTRA has an extensive patent portfolio with a focus on laser-based split processes for crystalline materials. - The optimization and development of stable, innovative and cost-effective processes in the field of laser processing, for example through appropriate planning of DoEs and thorough investigation of process windows
- The provision of new laser processes covering production-relevant aspects, such as Productivity, quality and stability
- Responsibility for the execution and implementation of control and measurement methods
- Further development of the system platform
- Guidance and close cooperation with employees from production and maintenance
- Collaboration in teams for various projects (e.g. development, transfer and cost reduction projects)
- Communication and cooperation with other departments and production sites of Infineon worldwide as well as with system manufacturers
- Have a university degree in the field of natural sciences (e.g. Physics, chemistry, nano/semiconductor technology) or a related engineering discipline
- 3-5 years of professional experience in the field of single process development, preferably in the field of semiconductor materials (ideally SiC)
- First experience with methodological competence such as FMEA, 6-sigma and 8D and release processes
- Have knowledge in the field of lasers, practical experience with lasers is a plus
- Work in a team and solution-oriented manner and be open to new concepts and ideas and also think and act cost-consciously
- Have knowledge of German and English
