- Hands-On Leadership : Provide technical expertise to Production and Quality teams and collaborate with customers, toolmakers, and suppliers.
- Supplier & Customer Management : Take charge of supplier relations and offer a customer-centric, commercially aware approach.
- Process Improvement : Spearhead projects to boost cost-effectiveness, ensuring timely and budget-conscious product delivery.
- Innovation & Optimisation : Streamline manufacturing processes, elevate quality, and introduce innovative materials and methods.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work seamlessly with Quality, Production, and other internal teams to drive excellence.
- Ideal Background : Degree in Engineering (would be very advantageous).
- Experience : Proven technical leadership, ideally in plastic manufacturing or related industries.
- Technical Knowledge : Expertise in plastic moulding processes.
- Skills : Problem-solving, analytical thinking, commercial awareness, and strong interpersonal communication.
- Customer-Focused : A customer-centric mindset with demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams.
- Salary : Circa £50,000 per annum (negotiable)
- Relocation : Up to £10,000 for UK candidates
