Field Service Engineer – Cambridge | HGV / Automotive | £45k-£55k (£21.50 per hour)

What You'll Do:

• Diagnose and repair winter maintenance vehicles, ensuring they’re road-ready
• Attend roadside breakdowns and customer sites for on-the-spot solutions
• Perform routine maintenance and servicing to keep vehicles in top condition
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues and repairs
• Use modern tools, including a provided tablet, to manage paperwork efficiently
• Follow strict Health & Safety standards and use PPE

What We’re Looking For:

• HGV Class 2 Licence (required)
• 3+ years of experience in commercial vehicle repairs or roadside breakdowns
• Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
• Previous experience with Mercedes and DAF trucks is a bonus
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Adaptability and flexibility to work variable hours during peak winter months
