HGV Technician Location: Enfield Competitive Salary: £54,508.896 + £25 per week London Weighting allowance Day/Evening Shift: Tuesday to Saturday - 6:00 to 14:30/ 13:00 - 21:30 alternate weeks/ 6 week rolling rota. The Role: We’re seeking dedicated HGV Technicians to join the maintenance team at a busy logistics hub in Enfield . As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the performance of a fleet of heavy goods vehicles. - Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Maintenance & Repairs : Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults, ensuring all work is completed to high standards and within given timeframes
- Safety & Compliance : Ensure all vehicles meet safety and performance standards according to manufacturer guidelines
- Breakdowns & Reactive Work : Handle urgent breakdowns and repairs quickly and effectively
- Documentation & Reporting : Accurately document all repairs and diagnostics
- First-Time Fix Focus : Ensure quick, effective solutions to minimize downtime and improve vehicle availability
- What We’re Looking For:Experience : Previous experience in a fast-paced distribution or transport environment with strong HGV maintenance and repair skills
- Qualifications : NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent); CPC qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Skills : Strong diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and within a team
