Job Description Case Supervision and Mentorship : Provide guidance, training, and mentoring to new and existing social workers, caseworkers, and interns. Oversee Therapeutic Programs : Ensure the delivery of high-quality therapeutic programs to residents and their families. Provide Casework and Counseling : Offer casework and counseling services in a residential care setting. Liaise with External Partners : Collaborate with external stakeholders such as Subordinate Courts, MSF, Schools, Employers, and Voluntary Welfare Organizations, providing necessary information about residents and families. Coordinate External Appointments : Manage and coordinate all external appointments for residents, ensuring smooth and timely interactions. Assess Risks and Needs : Conduct assessments to identify the risks and needs of residents and their families, and create an Individual Care Plan (ICP) tailored to each resident. Implement ICP Actions : Work closely with care staff and the programs team to ensure the effective execution of each resident’s ICP and meet established goals. Provide Family Counseling : Offer counseling services to residents’ families and facilitate restorative work between residents and their families. Monitor Resident Progress : Track and document daily incidents and progress of residents, ensuring they are receiving the necessary care and support. Contribute to Disciplinary Committee : Provide input at weekly Disciplinary Committee meetings and ensure that outcomes from these meetings are implemented. Maintain Accurate Records : Ensure that all records related to residents are accurately maintained and updated regularly. Support Staff on Behavioral Management : Offer professional insights and support to the care staff team regarding the risks, needs, and behavioral management of residents and their families. Job Requirements Experience in Social Work : Experience working in a residential care setting with adolescent clients, ideally with a focus on casework and counseling. Educational Qualifications : Relevant degree or professional qualifications in Social Work or a related field. Collaboration and Communication : Strong interpersonal skills to liaise and collaborate with a wide range of external partners and stakeholders. Counseling and Case Management Skills : Proficiency in providing therapeutic counseling, case management, and formulating individualized care plans. Administrative and Reporting Skills : Ability to manage administrative functions and generate detailed reports for various stakeholders. #J-18808-Ljbffr
