Responsible for the delivery of the quality structural engineering services to Socotec clients.
Perform site inspections to ensure adherence to local regulations and compliance with project requirements.
Responsible for ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with relevant instructions.
Comply with SOCOTEC’s group policies and procedures.
Achieve and maintain the highest qualification levels determined by SOCOTEC for the relevant consultancy disciplines.

Main Tasks

Proceed with the review of documents according to the level of checking designated by the Management.
Filter and select the applicable requirements to verify that evidences are justified in the Design Package under review.
Insure compliance with standards, best practice, codes, regulations, etc.
Give a proven technical opinion to the submitted calculation notes and elements subject to the technical review.
Elaborate and submit document review reports.

To comply with Socotec International and client quality, safety and environmental systems and procedures at all times.
Ensure that all accidents, incidents, near misses or hazards are immediately reported and relevant paperwork is completed.
To work within the team to develop a culture where everyone embraces, upholds and accepts responsibility for a safe workplace, a healthy working life, a sustainable environment and the right and duty to intervene.

Qualifications

Degree qualified in civil engineering.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
Experienced in international codes and local regulations notably the SBC Code.
Must be Saudi nationality or in KSA since 5 years at least.
To be registered at the Saudi Society of Engineers.
