Job Duties & Qualifications
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Subsurface Project Manager with a strong background in reservoir engineering to lead and manage projects for both conventional and unconventional reservoirs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of subsurface projects, ensuring optimal reservoir performance and maximizing hydrocarbon recovery. Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage subsurface projects from inception to completion, including project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
- Develop and implement reservoir management strategies for both conventional and unconventional reservoirs.
- Conduct reservoir simulations and modeling to predict reservoir behavior and optimize production.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including geologists, geophysicists, drilling engineers, and production engineers, to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Analyze reservoir data and provide technical recommendations to enhance reservoir performance and recovery.
- Prepare and present technical reports, project updates, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in reservoir engineering and project management.
- Mentor and develop junior reservoir engineers and other team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of [15] years of experience in reservoir engineering, with a focus on both conventional and unconventional reservoirs.
- Proven experience in managing subsurface projects and leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong knowledge of reservoir simulation software and modeling techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
