We are seeking an experienced Mechanic specialized in Heavy Vehicles, specifically Scania trucks, to join our client's team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. As a Workshop Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and servicing a fleet of Scania trucks to ensure they are in optimal condition for operation. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct regular maintenance checks on Scania trucks to identify any issues or potential problems - Perform necessary repairs and replacements on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems of Scania trucks - Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment - Ensure all repairs and maintenance work are completed according to manufacturer and company standards - Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work done on Scania trucks - Communicate with the workshop supervisor and other team members to coordinate work and prioritize tasks - Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working on Scania trucks - Keep up-to-date with new developments and advancements in Scania truck technology and repair techniques - Assist in training and mentoring junior mechanics in the workshop Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in automotive mechanics is preferred - Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a mechanic, preferably with heavy vehicles and specifically Scania trucks - Strong knowledge of Scania truck systems and components - Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Valid KSA/ GCC driver’s license (LMV) - Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects - Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime if required If you have a passion for working with heavy vehicles, specifically Scania trucks, and have the necessary skills and experience, we would love to hear from you.
