Lead Software Developer Salary : £75,000- £80,000 Location: Manchester, United Kingdom Full-time About the Role: I am working with a dynamic tech company specializing in data analytics, providing cutting-edge solutions to a range of industries. With a decade of experience in developing data-driven insights, they help clients leverage advanced models and real-time analytics to make informed decisions. As a Lead Software Developer, you will be responsible for leading a talented team of engineers in the design, development, and maintenance of a variety of software systems, from modern web applications and data platforms to cloud infrastructure. This is a key leadership role where you’ll help drive the technical vision of the company and play a central role in shaping their future growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing software engineering team
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, ensuring high-quality results
- Develop and communicate the team’s technical route, aligning it with business objectives
- Maintain and ensure the ongoing support of current software systems
- This position is based in their Manchester office, with the flexibility to work remotely two days per week.
- Previous experience as a software engineer, with at least 1year in a technical leadership or team lead role
- A passion to help members of the team grow both technically and professionally
- Experience working in cloud-based environments
- Proficiency in working across multiple technologies, including Typescript, JavaScript, PHP, and C#
- A proactive attitude with a strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to manage time effectively and organize tasks within a team
