Finance Manager

We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our Kuala Lumpur office, who is passionate about taking initiative, staying organized, and delivering results in a supportive and collaborative way. You will join our global finance function of 15+ professionals and lead a team of 7 finance specialists. The role reports to our Director of Financial Controlling who is located in Helsinki. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work remotely 3-4 days per week. We also value in-person collaboration, so we hope you can join us at the office for key gatherings when needed. To thrive in this role, we believe strong interpersonal skills and a keen attention to detail will be essential, along with a genuine willingness to learn and grow. Our team operates in English, so proficient communication skills (verbal and written) in the language are essential. The key responsibilities in this role:

• Lead financial controlling shared services operations, including general ledger (GL), accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), expense management, and local statutory and tax reporting.
• Collaborate closely with F-Secure’s HQ finance team on operational processes and strategic development initiatives.
• Oversee the preparation and maintenance of general ledgers for global operations, including countries with non-English-speaking environments.
• Manage audits, statutory reporting, and tax compliance in partnership with external service providers, ensuring alignment with company policies and international accounting standards.
• Evaluate and refine department workflows to enhance efficiency, optimize resource utilization, and maintain a high level of accuracy in financial operations.
• Drive the development and implementation of shared services processes, internal controls, and innovative features to improve team productivity and streamline departmental functions.

• Analytical and detail-oriented: Capable of analyzing complex financial data and providing actionable insights while maintaining high accuracy.
