Description We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst specializing in Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring that our P&C operations are both efficient and effective. As a Business Analyst, your primary focus will be to analyze and understand the complexities of the insurance market, identify key trends, and leverage this information to facilitate data-driven decision-making. You will work closely with stakeholders, including underwriters, claims adjusters, and IT professionals, to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure that business objectives align with technological advancements. This position requires a deep understanding of P&C insurance products, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices, as you will be responsible for enhancing product offerings, improving operational processes, and supporting strategic initiatives. Role and Responsibilities: a) Eliciting business requirements from clients b) Gather data modeling related requirements and apply data modeling design concepts c) Understand conceptual, logical, physical data model layers d) Work with Project Leads and Engineers to capture scope and vision e) Gather requirements via workshops, storyboards, use cases etc. and document in JIRA f) Document functional requirements, work with UX/UI designer, define acceptance criteria, create test scenarios g) Understand business needs and prioritize Domain Experience: a) P&C insurance experience for North America b) Expertise in Commercial Lines and Specialty Lines c) AINS / CPCU certification preferred Technical Experience: a) JIRA, Confluence, Excel Professional Attributes: a) Working in team with other business/system analysts b) Excellent communication skills c) Strong foundation experience of requirements process Additional Information: Work in night shift to support USA business hours Interested candidates Share cv to ashok.vell@intellectdesign.com
