Job description Email Deliverability Management:
- Design and implement email warm-up plans for IPs and domains to maximize deliverability.
- Monitor and improve email campaign performance through inbox placement monitoring and deliverability troubleshooting.
- Install, configure, and optimize email servers such as PowerMTA, Postfix, and other SMTP services.
- Set up and manage DNS settings for sending domains (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX, PTR).
- Implement best practices for email marketing to adhere to global regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL).
- Monitor server performance, load balancing, IP rotation, and ensure the stability and scalability of email infrastructure.
- Establish and maintain relationships with major ISPs and ESPs to resolve delivery issues.
- Manage blacklists and maintain IP and domain reputation.
- Analyze bounce reports, spam complaints, and open/click rates to identify and resolve deliverability issues.
- Provide regular reports on email performance, deliverability, and server health.
- Manage feedback loops (FBL) and postmaster tools for major ISPs (Microsoft, Gmail, Yahoo, etc.).
- Maximum 3 years in email deliverability, email infrastructure management, or related roles.
- Proficiency in email marketing technologies, PowerMTA/Postfix, and SMTP servers.
- Strong understanding of DNS, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX records, IP rotation, and bounce handling.
- Knowledge of load balancing, IP pools, and server performance monitoring.
- Familiarity with deliverability tools (250ok, Return Path, GlockApps) and postmaster tools.
- Deep understanding of CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL, and email compliance.
- Ability to interpret bounce codes, analyze email delivery data, and provide insights.
- Proactive in resolving email delivery and infrastructure issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
