GlobalLogic looking for a motivated and skilled Web Developer who is interested in transitioning to a Product Support Role. In this dynamic position, you will leverage your web development expertise to provide support, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the optimization of our products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, business operations, and customer support, to ensure a seamless user experience and resolve technical challenges. Designation: Engineer Experience: 2+ years Work Location: Gurgaon Required Skills: JavaScript, SQL, Technical/ Product Support with excellent communication skills What are we looking for

  • 2+ years of experience in an enterprise software or cloud support environment.
  • Understanding of modern web technologies and relationships between them Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, DNS, CDN, and SSL.
  • Experience troubleshooting web applications and performance issues.
  • Familiarity with MySQL and database queries.
  • Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as PHP, Node.js, Perl, Java, and Python.
  • Excellent (oral and written) communication skills in English is Must
  • Must be willing to work from office only and be flexible with a 24x7 shift schedule.
What will you do
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to prioritize and escalate issues as needed.
  • Deliver business and technical solutions to help customers optimize their use of the product.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize, manage, multitask, and execute cross-functional projects.
  • Lead the resolution of complex technical challenges by collaborating with stakeholders in development and business operations teams.
  • Assess and offer insights on emerging technologies, future releases, and upgrades.
  • Share best practices with team members to improve customer support quality and contribute articles to the knowledge base.
  • Convert business requirements into product specifications and work with product management to implement enhancements.
  • Provide performance tuning, optimization, and debugging support for customer code.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to minimize critical issues in the application.
