About the Company: This engineer will work closely with other software engineers. The engineer will provide feedback about functional requirements and then implement the feature as required. This is position where your professional feedback will directly impact the direction and quality of the system design. The engineer will ensure the feature set and the specifications have been achieved by working directly with the quality organization. The correct candidate will have at least 4-6 years’ experience in embedded software design. Experience dealing with complex Network processors is a plus. The ability to work in both user space and bridge across to embedded NPU. Experience with microcode also a plus. The ideal candidate should have the ability to work together in a team environment and the drive to be a self-starter. Strong communication and decision making skills are a must. The engineer will be closely working with global teams and will be working Oracle Bengaluru location. About the Role: Candidate Profile: Top skill sets / technologies in the ideal candidate: C / C++ (Object oriented design) Embedded Linux Ability to debug complex issues Multi-core architecture Knowledge of IP, UDP and TCP is required Network processor experience is a plus Telecommunications and networking experience is a plus Experience working in the fast/slow path is a plus Familiarity with VoIP protocols is a plus Responsibilities:
