Global Central Planning Senior Manager/Director (Semiconductor) Fortune 500 MNC Strategic Leadership Role Location: Singapore, Singapore About the Company Our client is a Leading US-based MNC within the Semiconductor industry. The company is experiencing growth across major markets worldwide due to its continuous improvement in advanced research development and innovative product development. Main Duties & Responsibilities Reporting to the Global Central Planning Senior Director, we are currently seeking a Central Planning Senior Manager/Director to lead global central planning across various global facilities operations. You will be responsible for developing and executing production planning, capacity, and resource allocation. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities and a proven track record in establishing centralized governance and framework. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for short-term tactical planning, mid-term and long-term strategic capacity planning for both internal and external manufacturing sites and facilities. Spearhead efforts to optimize capacity and resource allocation, aligning with business expansion and growth efforts. Design and establish centralized governance and framework for planning processes, ensuring harmonization across sites and business organization. Identify and drive cost-saving initiatives, negotiate favorable terms, and manage procurement budgets effectively. Continuous improvement efforts to enhance planning tools and systems, aiming to streamline workflows and improve sustainability and scalability globally. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals and engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation. Provide learning opportunities and development plans for direct reports. Candidate Profile Our ideal candidate will meet most of the following criteria: Bachelor's degree; MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPM, CPSM) advantageous. Minimum 15 years of experience in Centralized Planning, with a proven track record of managing complex global networks and achieving cost savings. Experience in Backend Operations in Semiconductor / Assembly & Testing Technologies advantageous, but not mandatory. Experience in driving capacity expansion. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Proven ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
