The Sales Manager is responsible for the development and execution of the marketing sales strategies and activities and the generation of sales leads to achieve profit and sales growth objectives for the assigned key accounts across agency and direct clients. Job responsibilities: Accountable for budget control, negotiation of favourable terms and effective utilisation of funds to achieve financial targets. Present, negotiate and sell Digital Media products to prospective agencies and direct clients, typically pitching to executives, media planners and marketing managers. Generate sales leads through personal, professional and external networks. Develop and implement innovative and effective sales strategies to assist each team member in achieving its annual, quarterly and monthly sales and other assigned targets. Craft responses to RFPs, proposals, and contracts. Conduct quarterly, half-yearly and annual Business Reviews with the assigned team members to improve performance. Participates in promotional events such as trade shows and seminars. Establish a high level of rapport with current and potential clients as well as provide accurate and timely information for decision-making purposes. Conduct regular sales analysis to evaluate sales effectiveness and identify business opportunities to grow the business. Cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders and build a strong network across the digital media industry. Work with other members of the regional team to anticipate and respond to a variety of business needs. To carry out additional tasks/work as directed by management from time to time. Desired Skills and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, or relevant fields. 2-4 years of working experience in a similar capacity in an advertising environment with a proven track record in over-achieving quota. Must have strong knowledge of Internet concepts and able to discuss them with conviction. The candidate will demonstrate a strategic and analytical sales approach with a focus on securing new business. Must be a customer-focused leader with excellent communication, networking and negotiation skills. Excellent presentation skills. Advertising experience will be an added advantage. Experience in advertising/media, strategic marketing and/or consulting is strongly preferred. Experience selling web solutions in a highly competitive environment is ideal.
