We are hiring for Head of Sales having strong expertise in landscaping, construction, or swimming pool design/build industry The Head of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s sales strategy, overseeing a high-performing sales team, and driving business growth across both landscaping and swimming pool design and build sectors. The role will focus on building relationships with key clients, securing new projects, and ensuring the company meets its sales targets while maintaining a high standard of service and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the construction or design industry, and a proven track record in sales management. Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales Strategy Development Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business objectives and growth targets. Identify new market opportunities, particularly in landscaping and swimming pool design and construction, and expand the company’s footprint within these sectors. Establish long-term sales goals and objectives and work to achieve them in collaboration with senior leadership.
  2. Team Leadership and Management Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets, ensuring a high level of performance and accountability. Set clear goals and KPIs for the team and track progress through regular reporting and performance reviews. Provide ongoing training, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance team skills and drive sales success.
  3. Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including residential property owners, commercial developers, architects, and landscape designers. Act as a primary point of contact for high-value clients and oversee negotiations, contracts, and project agreements. Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction, addressing client needs, concerns, and feedback throughout the sales process.
  4. Sales Execution and Lead Generation Oversee the entire sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and post-sale follow-ups. Identify and qualify new business leads, focusing on high-value projects for landscaping and swimming pool design/build services. Create and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and contracts to potential clients. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop lead generation strategies and promotional materials.
  5. Market Research and Competitive Analysis Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor strategies. Provide actionable insights to senior leadership regarding market opportunities, pricing strategies, and product/service differentiation. Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape to adjust the sales approach accordingly.
  6. Collaboration with Operations and Design Teams Work closely with the operations, design, and project management teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment between sales and delivery teams. Ensure that the client’s vision is clearly communicated to the design and construction teams, and that timelines, budgets, and project scopes are properly managed. Assist in the transition of closed sales to the project execution phase, ensuring smooth handover and client satisfaction.
  7. Budgeting and Reporting Manage the sales budget and resources efficiently, ensuring that sales activities are cost-effective and aligned with business goals. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management, providing insights into performance, challenges, and opportunities. Track key performance metrics, including sales growth, client retention rates, and project profitability.
Desired Candidate Profile
  1. 7+ years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Experience in the landscaping, construction, or swimming pool design/build industry is highly preferred.
  2. Proven success in driving sales growth, managing a sales team, and delivering on sales targets.
  3. Strong track record of building and maintaining relationships with high-net-worth individuals, developers, and large organizations.
  4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team toward achieving goals.
  5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to understand and explain technical concepts related to landscaping and pool construction.
