We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Out-Patient Team for one of our Medical Centers managed by Gargash Hospital.Main Duties/Responsibilities:Responsible for assessing patient needs, planning, implementation, and evaluation of a program of care which is evidence-based utilizing all available resources taking into consideration the lifestyle, gender, and cultural background and ensuring involvement with the patient, family, carers, and significant others.Ensuring that all patients and their families feel cared for and cared about.Organize own workload to ensure that the interests of the patients are met.Maintain patient records in line with Hospital guidelines for records and record keeping.Work within the Health & Safety Guidelines and Procedures.Empower patients to take responsibility for their health, well-being, and future lifestyle by practicing in an open, transparent, and inclusive manner, thereby ensuring patients have the relevant information to participate in decisions about their care.Assist in reviewing and developing new policies and procedures.Assist less experienced colleagues in planning, priority setting, and decision making to ensure that they meet patient's needs.May also act as link nurse for areas such as Education, Quality, Infection Control, Moving & Handling.Contribute to the provision of an appropriate learning environment.Act as a role model for less experienced members of staff by representing the values and beliefs of the nursing profession as well as that of the organization.Provide encouragement and motivation to members of the nursing team.Take account of the role and competency of staff when delegating work.Participate in personal development planning and formal/informal appraisal of junior nursing staff and student nurses.Participate in the development and implementation of the nursing philosophy and objectives of the team.Continue to develop leadership skills and provide leadership when required.Contributes to and influences practice development within the clinical area.Minimum Qualifications:Graduate from an accredited Nursing program of a minimum duration of three (3) years or Bachelor degree in Nursing.Current valid registration in the country of training and/or country of last employment (Desirable).4-5 years of experience in a hospital/clinical setup.Arabic speaking would be an added advantage.Knowledge / Technical Skills:Care DeliveryInvolvement of Patient and Family in CareHealth Promotion and Health ProtectionMaintenance of Care RecordsManagement of Resources in a Cost-Efficient MannerSelf-developmentCommunicationClient OrientationSafety awarenessLicense / Registration:Valid DHA Nursing License / Eligibility Letter
