Senior QA Engineer-Hybird

Apply before August 31st 2024Job Position: Senior QA EngineerPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, with a proven track record of identifying issues and improving product quality. You will be responsible for developing and implementing testing strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. As a Senior QA, we also expect you to have a decent knowledge about security testing, pentesting, and networking.Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive testing strategies and plans.Perform thorough testing of web and mobile applications, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.Identify, document, and track bugs and issues, and work with developers to resolve them.Update your progress on a regular basis through Jira and Daily Updates.Conduct security testing following OWASP guidelines to ensure applications are robust against common vulnerabilities.Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and met.Mentor and guide junior QA team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of testing processes and tools.Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in quality assurance, security testing, and networking.Qualifications:Minimum of 7 years of experience in quality assurance and testing, with at least 2 years in a senior role.Proficiency with English language speaking and writing.Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar.Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.In-depth knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.Experience with security testing and familiarity with OWASP standards and guidelines.Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes is a plus.
